Shipping & Handling
Panacea Wines ships to most states via common carrier (UPS or FedEx). Because the wine shipping laws for each state are currently in flux, please contact us directly at (619) 437-1175 if you have questions about the legality of shipping wine to the state where you live.

Please expect the shipping charges on your invoice to reflect the cost for shipping materials, labor delivery charges - UPS in most cases. Delivery cost can vary depending on weight and delivery location.

Sales Tax
7.75% sales tax will be charged to all orders shipping to a California address.

Delivery
In-stock items will be shipped within 72 hours and will be shipped via FedEx Ground unless arranged otherwise. Shipping time is generally two weeks on out-of-stock items.

Temperature Control
Instances of damage due to heat and cold are extremely rare. However, if you are concerned about weather conditions we will gladly store your wine (at no charge) in our climate-controlled cellars. When ordering wine in the summer months, it may be wise to choose 2-day or next-day air delivery. You will be responsible for the increased shipping charges. We will promptly replace (or issue a full refund for) any bottles broken or otherwise damaged in handling. We cannot, however, assume liability for damages due to extreme changes in temperature.

Age and State Limitation
You must be age 21 or older to order and receive wine. We ship wine to states that allow shipping. Panacea Wines makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside California. All alcoholic beverages are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in this state. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcoholic beverages. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. By submitting an order, you are telling us that you are at least 21 years of age and that the intended delivery recipient is at least 21 and able to present valid identification.

Refund Policy
In California, once wine is sold it is illegal to return except for defects. Wine purchased in bottles or packaging which is defective may be returned for credit or replacement within thirty (30) days of purchase. Returned wine must be accompanied with a receipt from Panacea Wines.
